Attorney David L. Schneider is a long-time workers’ compensation lawyer who joined the Law Offices of Jason M. Hatfield in September 2021. Before joining the firm, David worked as a Legal Advisor for the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission, where he fielded questions from the public about the state’s workers’ compensation laws. While at the Commission, he also provided advice, information and assistance to workers, employers, insurance adjusters, attorneys and others about the workers’ compensation system. This experience provided him with advanced knowledge of the Arkansas workers’ compensation laws.

After leaving the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission, David entered private practice, working for a local workers’ compensation law firm until joining the Law Office of Jason M. Hatfield.

David is also a certified civil mediator. In this capacity, he helps parties resolve their disputes without the need for court intervention. David attended Arkansas Tech University for his undergraduate studies and obtained his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. A lifelong resident of Arkansas, David also officiated high school football for 30 years.

David enjoys practicing workers’ compensation law because it allows him to help injured workers obtain meaningful compensation, allowing them to focus on their recovery rather than working through painful injuries and debilitating illnesses. A humble man, David does not like bragging about his accomplishments; however, he attributes his success to being a hard worker with a small-town attitude. This allows him to “look beyond the glamour and glitz and get to the nitty-gritty” of the legal issues that affect his clients.

When he is not working, David enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and two grandchildren.
